Common Problems

  • If you enter your Session ID and Authorization Code incorrectly, you will receive the following error message: "The Session ID and Authorization Code you entered do not match. Please try again." If possible, cut and paste the Session ID (8 alphanumeric characters) you were provided and enter the Authorization Code (4 digits) manually.
  • If you enter a Session ID and Authorization Code that have already been used by another person, you will receive the following error message: "The Session ID and Authorization Code you entered have already been used." Ask your test administrator for a new Session ID and Authorization Code because the codes you were provided will not work.
  • If you experience any problems during your test session (e.g., the timer does not work properly, you cannot advance to the next page in a test, the session ends unexpectedly), your Internet connection may not be stable or the security software on your computer may be interfering with the WebAssess system. Notify your test administrator and explain the problem you are experiencing.
